Printing
Our extensive print suite can handle large mail merge tasks, in cut sheet format, on high speed laser printers. This can be used for personalised single or double sided letters or simply for producing address carrier sheets for polywrap mailings. Our full colour printer can produce good quality single or double sided letterheads, including mail merge in one pass, at a fraction of the cost and without the usual set up or plate charges.
Within the Data Processing department we have standard and sophisticated bespoke software. This enables us to process data received in most formats, merge multiple files containing differing amounts of fields, deduplicate, process for Royal Mail Presstream, Mailsort, or Walksort services or to the requirements of other UK postal downstream access providers. If your data isn’t just UK based, no problem, we have a wealth of experience at processing foreign addresses with our software package able to zip sort and process to levels needed to achieve the best postal discounts available.
We understand the importance of handling your data securely and accurately. That’s why we have invested in security systems that ensure your data cannot get into the wrong hands once passed over to us.
To us it is also vitally important that mailing items leave us correctly addressed and postcoded, not only to protect valuable postal discounts, but to ensure that the recipient’s first impression of the mailing piece is nothing less than good.
That’s the reason why we include as part of our data processing routine the verification of UK addresses against The Postcode Address File (PAF®). In addition, with PAF being the most up-to-date and complete address database in the UK, we see it not only as an invaluable tool for creating and maintaining mailing lists, but a way of reducing the number of returned or undelivered items that can eat into your budget or impact adversely on your company or brand name.
If it is data enhancement or suppression services you require such as: MPS, TPS, GAS, BCF, BSF, the bereavement register or Mortascreen, we are able to provide these vitally important services, keeping you informed at all stages of the process.
Software
As part of our software suite we use a system which is a complete work flow management system for mailing and print finishing. Combining customer address file import, file combination and splitting, mail sorting, and production line controller set-up. The system also provides samples and reports along with a client authorisation sign off certificate of approval before mailing commences.
In many cases this software helps us to reduce typical data set-up times from 1-2 hours down to 5-10 minutes, eliminate errors through good organisation, increase options we can offer customers, and reduce reliance on data consultants.
Data Flow
Our computer system is linked direct to our production department to ensure the smooth flow of data direct to our various ink jet addressing systems in readiness for mailing.
List Management
We can also hold mailing lists on our secure computer network, on behalf of clients, for mailing magazines, newsletters or direct mail. We can offer a service whereby mailing lists are kept up to date from mailing returns and data cleansing.
